Pittsfield State Forest has about 16 miles of trails that wind through a mixed hardwood forest. The trails are generally fast and smooth, consisting mostly of hardpack with some rocks and a little loose dirt. The trail system has a few steep hills, a few water crossings, and a few berms, but no jumps. The trails are mostly for beginners, with some intermediate terrain.
The trails are marked with orange and yellow triangle blazes. ATVs and UTVs with a maximum width of 50 inches are permitted, but Jeeps are not. An additional permit is required to ride the trails. Camping is allowed in some areas of the forest.Dirt Bike Trail System
