Trace State Park has about 35 miles of multi-use trails that wind through a mixed hardwood forest, rolling hills, and swamps. The terrain is mostly hard-packed, with some mud and a few rocks. The park has some single-track trails and a few berms, but no jumps. The trail system is best suited for intermediate riders, with some terrain for beginners and a small amount for experts. The trails are open to motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs with a maximum width of 50 inches. Jeeps are prohibited. The trail is also popular with horseback riders, bicyclists, and hikers.
