With over 300 miles of diverse trails, the system is open 24/7, 365 days a year. The trails are clearly marked and rated by difficulty: easy, moderate, difficult, and extremely difficult. While the park is largely considered an intermediate-level riding area, it offers challenges for both novices and experts. The terrain is a mix of loose dirt, hardpack, and some mud after rainfall, with limited dust on typical days. Riders will navigate through a landscape with many trees, some rocks, and a few steep hills and water crossings. The park also features some single-track trails but has few jumps or berms.
In addition to the extensive trail network, Windrock Park offers a full-service campground, RV sites, and cabins. A general store and campground office are available for permits, which are required for all riders. The park permits ATVs and Jeeps.
