The technical "Tubes" section creates a slot canyon-like passage requiring precise navigation and is best tackled in a counter-clockwise direction for optimal flow.
Beyond the structured trail system, the fenced open riding zone accommodates unrestricted exploration across white sand dunes punctuated by unique cottonwood trees, creating scenic backdrops that have attracted film productions. The area maintains excellent accessibility with multiple staging areas and camping opportunities, though riders must strictly adhere to designated routes outside the open zone to preserve access and protect surrounding private property.
