The Dismal River Trail is a 36-mile system of smooth and fast sandy trails that includes some open play areas. The trail has lots of changes in elevation and winds through a mix of pine forest and open meadows. It is best suited for intermediate riders, with some terrain for beginners and a small amount for experts. The trail has a few small jumps and some berms, but no single-track trails.
The trails are open to all off-road vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and Jeeps, with a maximum width of 64 inches. A spark-arresting exhaust is required. The trail is open year-round, except during deer hunting season. Primitive camping is available at two nearby campgrounds, both with direct trail access.Dirt Bike Trail System
