The terrain is primarily rocks with some hardpack, and it is well-drained with very little mud or sand. The trails have few steep hills and water crossings, and no jumps or berms. The trail system is mostly for intermediate riders, with some expert-level sections and limited terrain for beginners. The motorized trails are marked with yellow blazes and are only accessible from the parking area on High Rock Road. The park is also open to mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding.
