As Georgia's largest Forest Service OHV system, the Houston Valley Area near Dalton offers a substantial network of approximately 22 to 25 miles of trails in a scenic, wooded setting. The system is designed to accommodate all skill levels, with all trails clearly marked by difficulty from easy to most difficult, allowing riders to choose their level of challenge. A critical safety consideration for motorcyclists is that the entire trail system is two-way, which demands heightened awareness and caution, especially on hills and in blind corners.
