The Red Rock Canyon Trail is a 10-mile, old mining road that is a multi-use path open to dirtbike riders. The terrain is a mix of hard-packed ground with some rocks and steep hills, with some water crossings. The trail is best suited for intermediate riders, with some beginner terrain available, but it can be very muddy after rain. The trail leads to scenic views of the Alaska Range and the surrounding volcanic rock formations. The trailhead has a large gravel parking area that can accommodate large trailers.
