St. Croix State Forest has a trail system with numerous routes that wind through a scenic pine, maple, birch, and aspen forest. The trails are mostly hard-packed, with some mud and a few rocks. There are some small jumps, but no berms or single track. The trail system is best suited for intermediate riders, with some terrain for beginners and a small amount for experts. The trails are open to motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs with a maximum width of 65 inches. Jeeps are prohibited. Primitive camping is available at the nearby Boulder Campground.
