Huntersville State Forest features about 73 miles of trail that cater to dirt bike riders. Much of the trail is single-track, but there are also some two-track and service road loops for beginners. The trail is mostly loose dirt with some hardpack, rocks, and mud. It has a range of difficulty, from easy to more difficult, and includes a few small jumps and many berms. The trail is open year-round, but is not groomed for winter use.
A few miles of the trail are open to ATVs and UTVs, but Jeeps are prohibited. The trail is open year-round, except during spring thaw and firearms deer season. A Minnesota trail pass is required for non-residents. Rustic toilets are provided at the trailheads, but camping is not permitted in the park.Dirt Bike Trail System
