The Teton Valley riding area, located in the Big Hole Mountains within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, offers an extensive motorized trail system for dirt bikes. The riding experience is geared toward the experienced rider, with a network of tight and narrow single-track trails that wind through the rugged landscape. A key feature of the system is the "Powerline Trail," which is designated for ATVs and other vehicles 50 inches or less in width.
The trail system is also a popular destination for other recreational users, and riders may encounter mountain bikers and equestrians. The area is also well-known for its dramatic canyons and ridgelines. While there is no fee to ride, all vehicles must have a USFS-approved spark arrester and comply with a 96db noise limit.
