The Bonnet Carre Spillway is an 850-acre off-road area with motorized trails and some makeshift motocross tracks. The trails are located at a low elevation and have little hardpack or loose dirt, consisting mostly of sand and clay. The trails are smooth and fast, though some sections in the wooded areas are rough. The park has few trees or rocks and no steep hills. The area can get muddy during wet weather. A few small jumps and water crossings are present. The terrain is mostly for intermediate riders, with some beginner-level areas.
