Access to the vast Famous Reading Outdoors (FRO) trail system is available to annual members only; single-day passes are not offered. Members can explore hundreds of miles of trails across thousands of acres of reclaimed coal lands in Pennsylvania. The terrain is extremely diverse, offering a wide variety of conditions for all skill levels. Dirt bike riders will find everything from rocky trails and steep hill climbs to open fields, wooded paths, and dedicated mudding areas.
The property is open to all types of off-road vehicles 365 days a year for its members. A critical point for visitors is that the area is completely primitive with no on-site facilities. Riders must be entirely self-sufficient, bringing all their own food, water, and repair items for the day.
