Glendive Short Pine OHV Area is a large park with over 2,800 acres of trails that are open to all vehicle types. The trails are a mix of hard-packed, dry dirt and loose soil with some juniper trees and scrub brush. The park has many steep hill climbs, and the trails can get very dusty during dry weather conditions. The trail system has some single track, a few jumps, and some berms. The park is best suited for intermediate riders, with some terrain for beginners and a small amount for experts.
The park is open to motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and Jeeps with no restriction on vehicle width. Primitive camping is permitted in some areas, and a Montana OHV permit is required.
