Koocanusa Sand Dunes and Trail System is a large, open play area with several sand dunes and play pits. The terrain is mostly sandy, and riders are advised to use paddle or sand tires. The area also features many small and large jumps and a large number of berms. The trail system is best suited for intermediate riders, with some terrain for beginners and a small amount for experts.
The park is open to all vehicle types, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and Jeeps, with no restriction on vehicle width. The sand dunes and play pits are only accessible when water levels are low, generally from late March through late June. Camping is permitted in some areas.Dirt Bike Trail System
