The Shea Pit and Osborne Wash Area is a large desert riding location that is home to the annual Parker 400 Desert Race. This extensive network of trails, located east of Parker, is characterized by rugged 4x4 routes and sandy washes, with the landscape dotted with various cactuses and creosote bushes. The area has multiple access points and is defined in part by post and cable boundaries that delineate the race pit and spectator areas.
