Alto Pit OHV Area is a 400-acre park located at a 6,200-foot elevation near Prescott, Arizona, offering a unique riding environment for dirt bikes and ATVs 50 inches or less in width. The area is centered around a large former gravel pit with a distinctive rock and granite surface. The facility includes approximately 20 miles of motorized trails, two designated cross-country riding areas, and a separate, dedicated area for children.
The park is subject to closure during periods of heavy rain, snow, or icy conditions, so it is essential to call the Bradshaw Ranger Station to confirm its operational status before you visit. The facility has a staging area with ramps and over 10 campsites that are reservable in the summer and first-come, first-served in the winter.
