The Standard Wash OHV Area, managed by the Bureau of Land Management, is an open riding area for dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, and Jeeps. It is a major access point for the larger Lake Havasu Travel Management Trail System. The area offers a variety of easy and fun trails with scenic views just outside of Lake Havasu City. Rider traffic is typically low, providing a pleasant and secluded experience. The staging area for the wash is primitive, with no shade or services, but primitive camping is free and permitted.
