The Cedar Creek Trail is a 24-mile single-track trail that is currently open, despite some old information to the contrary. The trail consists of two loops that are a mix of hard-packed and sandy terrain. The northern loop has sections with deep sand, while the southern loop is more hard-packed. The terrain is generally flat to rolling with a few hills and two bridge crossings. It is mostly for beginners, with some sections of intermediate difficulty, but more experienced riders can enjoy it for its fast-flowing, sandy sections.
The trail is a two-way traffic trail open to motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs with a maximum width of 50 inches. Jeeps are prohibited. A Michigan DNR ORV sticker is required to ride, but there is no fee to park. Camping is available in some areas at the nearby Ambrose Lake State Forest Campground.Dirt Bike Trail System
