The Moss Lake Motorcycle Trail is a 26-mile loop designed for experienced riders. The trail is in the Hiawatha National Forest and is almost entirely single-track, with a mix of hard-packed dirt, exposed roots, and sandy sections. The trail is known for being tight and technical, with frequent elevation changes, off-camber terrain, and tight tree gaps. The trail has a few water crossings, but no large jumps or steep hills. The trail is primarily for intermediate and expert riders, with some beginner-friendly terrain.
The trail is for motorcycles only, with a maximum width of 24 inches. ATVs, UTVs, and Jeeps are prohibited. There are two staging areas, and primitive camping is available at the nearby Flowing Well Campground.
