Claypeak Recreation Area, managed by Payette County in Idaho, is a 200-acre OHV park open to dirt bikes, ATVs, and UTVs. The park's main motocross track is over two miles long and designed to challenge riders of all skill levels, with a 600-foot starting hill, challenging sweepers, numerous doubles, and multiple tabletops. The course utilizes natural terrain with added obstacles, providing a mix of hard-packed sections and sand. In addition to the track, the area offers miles of surrounding desert trails that are mostly hard-packed, with some sandy sections and hill climbs, making it an excellent place to hone skills on varied terrain.
The recreation area operates daily from dawn to dusk and is open year-round. While there is no fee to ride, all machines must have a current OHV sticker. The facility has a large, flat parking area with a vault toilet and some spectator bleachers, but there is no shade or water, so riders should come prepared. Camping is not permitted.
