The Magruder Road Corridor is a historic 101-mile, single-lane road that is not a traditional single-track trail system. It connects Idaho to Montana and is a rugged, scenic backcountry route for dual-sport and adventure motorcycles. The riding experience is focused on a challenging journey through a remote, pristine wilderness. The terrain is varied, with sections that are hard-packed, steep, and winding, as well as rocky and rutted sections that require a high-clearance vehicle and a capable rider. Some sections are slow and technical, while others allow for more open, flowing riding.
Due to its length and remote location, the trail requires careful planning. The route is best traveled between July and October, as snow can make it impassable for the rest of the year. There are no services, including fuel or food, between the towns at either end of the corridor, and cell phone service is nonexistent. Riders should be completely self-sufficient and prepared for mechanical issues. Dispersed camping is permitted in designated areas, and primitive campgrounds with vault toilets can be found along the way.Dirt Bike Trail System
