The Mounds ORV Area is a large off-road park with over 200 acres of diverse terrain for all types of vehicles and skill levels. Originally a sand and gravel pit, the terrain is soft and sandy with many mounds, holes, and large berms. The park features hare scramble trails, mud holes, rock crawls, and single-track trails for motorcycles. The trail system is primarily for intermediate riders, with some terrain for beginners and experts.
The park is open to all off-road vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, and Jeeps. A Michigan ORV sticker is required to ride. The park has seasonal restrictions, with some trail areas closed between March and May, but the scramble area remains open.
