The Munds Park OHV Trail System, situated within the Coconino National Forest, provides approximately seven miles of designated motorized trails for dirt bikes, ATVs, and UTVs. These trails were designed to incorporate natural features, offering a purpose-built experience for motorized users. The system includes both trails optimized for side-by-sides and single-track paths specifically for dirt bikes, ensuring a variety of options for riders. While many trails are hard-packed and form easy loops, some sections, like Munds Canyon, become rockier with elevation changes and may require more technical skill. Riders should be aware of "squeeze points" on the trails, which are designed to protect the natural landscape by limiting access to larger vehicles.
As part of a National Forest, the trail system has limited on-site amenities. There are no restrooms or potable water facilities directly at the trailheads. Motorized vehicle use is strictly limited to designated roads and trails, as outlined on the official Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for the Coconino National Forest.
