The Winchester Trails system is a dedicated single-track area, but riders should be aware that the trails are reportedly in need of maintenance. The network consists almost entirely of single-track that winds through thick vegetation on a soft, damp surface of mostly loose dirt. While the layout features numerous berms and steep hills, be prepared to navigate challenging trail conditions that may include deep ruts, washouts, and fallen trees. This area is best suited for skilled intermediate to expert riders comfortable with unpredictable and rugged terrain.
This is primarily a motorcycle trail system, and while some trails may be open to ATVs, UTVs are prohibited. The trails are marked and rated, but due to the lack of recent maintenance, conditions can be difficult.
