Located in the Tillamook State Forest, the Browns Camp OHV Area provides 50 miles of marked and rated trails that are ideal for novice and intermediate riders. The system is composed primarily of wide, multi-use trails with only a few single-track sections. The terrain is mostly hard-packed earth with some rocky and loose dirt areas that wind through a scenic forest. With no steep hills or expert-level challenges, this area offers a fun and accessible experience for building skills.
As a primary staging area for the forest, Browns Camp is well-equipped with a large day-use parking lot and a full-service campground, which is typically open from April through October. The trails are open to all OHV types, so riders should expect to encounter ATVs and UTVs. Regulations
Some trails close periodically for logging, maintenance, or for fire season. Browns Camp has 30 sites and is designated for OHV users with trail ready machines. Rogers Camp is mainly used by horseback and mountain bike riders.
