The John's Peak OHV Area is a vast 16,000-acre system that is a haven for single-track enthusiasts, featuring numerous motorcycle-specific loops with very little rider traffic. Winding through a thick forest, the trails offer a mix of loose dirt and hard-packed surfaces that can become very muddy after rain. The network is full of interesting historical remnants like old cabins and abandoned mines, and the trails themselves include steep hills and a few jumps, providing a true backcountry adventure for all skill levels.
