The Clear Creek trail system is a challenging 26-mile point-to-point route located 50 miles northwest of Las Vegas in the Spring Mountain National Recreation Area. This remote high-desert trail winds through rugged terrain featuring technical rocky sections, narrow paths with blind corners, and smoother gravel stretches beyond the summit areas. The trail demands a capable 4x4 vehicle and offers excellent solitude for serious off-road enthusiasts.
The main staging area provides ample parking but no services or shade, so riders must bring all supplies. Wild mustangs frequently visit the shallow ponds near the parking area, adding to the remote wilderness experience.
