The Johnson Lane Area is a vast, free-to-access trail system in the Pine Nut Mountains that offers dirtbike riders hundreds of miles of single-track and double-track trails. The terrain is a diverse mix of hard-packed dirt, sand, and rocky hill climbs. The trails range from novice-friendly paths near the valley floor to more challenging, rugged routes in the pinyon-juniper foothills, providing unlimited fun for all skill levels.
This is a multi-use area that allows all vehicle types with no width restrictions. Primitive, dispersed camping is permitted throughout the area. A Nevada OHV sticker is required for out-of-state riders, and all vehicles must have a spark arrester.
