The Elderberry Flats trail system provides a diverse riding experience, with routes ranging from smooth and twisty single-track to rugged, rutted 4x4 roads. The terrain is a mix of hard-packed earth, loose dirt, and rocky sections, but the area's defining characteristic is its many steep hills, which challenge riders on both climbs and descents. This variety makes the trail system best suited for intermediate riders, though beginners and experts can also find suitable sections.
