The Elderberry Flats trail system provides a diverse riding experience, with routes ranging from smooth and twisty single-track to rugged, rutted 4x4 roads. The terrain is a mix of hard-packed earth, loose dirt, and rocky sections, but the area's defining characteristic is its many steep hills, which challenge riders on both climbs and descents. This variety makes the trail system best suited for intermediate riders, though beginners and experts can also find suitable sections.
This BLM trail system is open to all OHV types and is directly accessible from the Elderberry Flat Campground. The campground is free to use on a first-come, first-served basis (with a 14-day limit) and operates seasonally from late May through September. With campsites situated along a creek, it provides an excellent base camp for a weekend of riding and other recreational activities.Dirt Bike Trail System
